Though Told true,a dragon's heart is indeed a pure thing,of magic,and nobility,loyalty and trust that could become your greatest fear.Most believe dragons to be extinct,gone,and no longer in this world,but that is not entirely true.When a young female falls from a dangerous wound in the world of Evelon.The child is then found by a dragon,young and naive,but pure of heart.The dragon,sensing this child has an aura of what seems to be pure kindness,the Dragon gives up it's heart to save the child.Though the Dragon knows the consequences.The Creature then takes the child far across the plains of the World of Evelon,and places her on a doorstep of an old Sheepherder and his wife,and vanishes into thin air,as if she never existed.

~Fifteen Years later~
The young girl is now a teenager,living with her 'parents' and unbeknownst of what beats within her body.Though she is lovely,she refused marriage to anyone who goes nearest her,or tries to persuade her.Finally,she grows fed up with it,and escapes her home,with her parent's consent.She travels throughout the day and night upon horse back,and finally,she ends up,at the place she knows,yet doesn't remember.The dragon isn't there anymore.However,there lies a small,dapple shelled egg,and in it's lovely violet shell.She soon,goes in investigate the small egg,and then,it shatters to pieces,revealing a small female dragon.Awestruck,the teen leans forwards to touch it,and then,a flash of light,and she has a marking along her right hand,and the dragon,young,but speaking fluently,
'I've been waiting for years to meet you..'
Now,with the dragon at her side,the young teenager embarks on a journey,across the Lands of Evelon,and towards the Kingdom of King Mokoris.Where she meets up with his son,the purehearted young Eiron.The two soon begin to fall in love,however,the King is set out to get the young girl and her dragon,and destroy it...
What will happen to the Trio,now that the girl has found out the that male is the king's son,and might be out to get her as well?And what will become of her beloved companion..?Only Time will tell...

Kiana walked along the tree line, staying off the road in case anyone who "posed a threat", as Eiron put it, came along. She looked down at the young hatchling walking beside her, her white scales glistening in the quickly setting sun's light. The dragon had only been hatched for a short while, but already she was as tall as Kiana's knees. Kiana looked forward again and watched as Eiron walked a short distance ahead of her and Wayvern. She thought over the events that had happened over the past five days. Originally the three of them had been walking to King Mokoris's kingdom. When they had stopped at a village to stay at an inn for the night, they had been greeted by some soldiers who were after them for whatever reason. After escaping them, Eiron had been acting a little strangely, insisting that they stay off the roads. After two days of this behavior, Kiana asked him what was bothering him so much that they had to stay hidden. After some arguing, she eventually convinced him that they stay in an inn that night instead of camping out in the cold forest. But once again the three had been chased out by soldiers, narrowly escaping this time. So once again they were staying out of sight. Soon the sky grew dark and Eiron turned into the trees, Kiana and Wayvern following. They set up a small fire deep inside the woods to provide heat and cook dinner. When Eiron went out to hunt, Kiana turned to Wayvern. "Something definitely isn't right," she said, continuing a conversation that they had begun earlier. "What could those soldiers want with us and make Eiron want to stay out of the towns and villages?"

The White dragon's movement's were fluent,and gracefull dispite her age and her height,and you could practicly tell she was,rather suspicious of the young boy that they were following.She snorted,her crystal,amber eyes glassy slightly as she looked at the stars above,and since it had gotten to be nighttime,she could talk with her rider fully on now instead of whispering while the boy had gone hunting.Wayvern moved over swiftly to Kiana's side and laid down by her feet,a soft yawn escaping her as she looked up at the girl,Her eyes narrowed with even more suspicion,and you could see it,as she replied,
"I don't trust him Kiana.He has made us safe,but that doesn't make me trust him.I'm the last dragon on earth,Kiana,and seemingly,that makes it harder for us to travel.You know the King,is the only other person who owns a dragon,dispite it,the creature is evil beyond imagination...I've been hatched,to destroy him I know of such things.But...Eiron makes me want to just question his motives.We're supposed to be going to the castle.We're no where close to such."
She said,her tone turning to a biting venomous voice as she thwaped her tail about restlessly.
"And staying off the roads,I know is a good idea,but still...it makes us stray off course of our destination..."

Kiana pondered Wayvern's words. She couldn't help but feel she had to defend Eiron. "Well, I'm sure he's doing this to keep us protected........" Kiana's words trialed off as she thought more thoroughly about her own words. Protect us from what though, she thought.

Eiron walked through the dense greenery of the forest and thrashed angrily at some ferns with his sword. So annoying! he thought as the prickly plants stuck to his wool clothing. This foliage was nothing like the plants back at his home. There, the plants had been carefully taken care of by gardeners who had to make everything perfect to save their life. The colors here are too bright he thought to himself as he lost himself in the dark and neon shades of greens, pinks, and oranges. Eiron plopped onto the ground to wipe off sweat and rest his eyes from the shades. His ears adjusted and he could pick out the tiny pitter-pat of ants on the leaves and the singing of the grass when the wind passed through it. He looked up and saw a tree with rain droplets stuck to the bark. Immediately, his mind wandered to Kiana. Her long dark hair, her deep, knowing russet eyes, and her smile. A deep blush spread across his face.
Gasp! No! I can't be thinking such things! he screamed in his head while shaking it at the same time. His blush disappeared as he thought of the beast traveling with them. I have to get that thing back to my father no matter what.

Wayvern frowned slightly in reply then shook her head and looked down.Was her master so dense?She looked in the direction of the boy,her glassy eyes narrowing,and she snorted a tiny flicker of ember at the wood in between her and her future rider.She looked up at the canapy,and then murmured softly,
"As you wish Kiana...I still don't trust the boy though...he's hiding something...I can tell..."
With that,Wayvern turned and curled up at her master's feet,and closed her eyes silently.

Kiana sighed and leaned against the tree she was resting in front of. She looked up through the tree's leaves and watched the stars winking above. It was a clear night, the full moon shining in the east. The only sounds were the last of the cicadas and the crackling fire. Now and then an owl would call out or a twig would snap under the foot of a curious animal. Kiana closed her eyes breathed in the forest air. Soon she fell asleep.

Eiron walked back to where Kiana and her beast were resting, a large hare in his hand. It was all he could find what with all the plants in the way. This won't be enough, even though it's huge... he thought as his eyes rested on Kiana's peaceful, sleeping face. Throwing the hare down onto the ground, he walked over and sat on his heels in front of Kiana and the thing. He reached to her trying to tuck a fallen lock back behind her ear, when he heard shouts of men. The townspeople! he realized. Quickly, he pulled his hand back and stood up, getting dizzy from the lack of eating on the trip.
His eyes shifted to the creature who looked like it might be sleeping. That thing's too gentle to be a beast, he thought to himself. He shook his head slightly in disagreement. A beast is still a beast! he decided, and it's got to go!
Eiron turned to Kiana and shook her slightly, a burning sensation going up his arms whenever their skins touched.
"Come on!" he whispered loudly, "we've got to leave!"

Wayvern's eyes opened and she picked her head up,her muscles ached slightly and then she collapsed,wincing,and she hissed slightly,though it was gently,more like a hum,
"But it's late,we've been on the move since Dawn!She needs to rest!And so do you!I refused to let you push us further Eiron.You cna't expect us to continue like this!"
She argued,pushing herself up on her feet,which were raw,torn and bleeding now,and she whimpered,a pitiful cry though it was,she was injured,and in pain.Her wings slumped,and she collapsed on the ground once more,her eyes closing quietly,and she curled up,whimpering slightly,as if begging him not to push them further.Dispite her wounds,she cared more for her rider than herself.

Kiana had woken with a start when Eiron shook her by the shoulder. Her brow creased with worry over Wayvern as the dragon argued and whimpered pitifully. She stroked Wayvern between the eyes, trying to comfort her, and looked up at Eiron. "We do need to rest Eiron. All of us are beaten tired and we haven't eaten a real meal in days." Ironically, as she said this her stomach growled. She felt her face grow hot with embarrassment but she held her gaze at Eiron's eyes, proving her point.

An angry look crossed his face, but disappeared with worry. Looking up towards the sound of the villagers, he doused the remaining flames of their deplorable heat source.

Kiana frowned as Eiron doused the fire. "Why do you insist in not being seen?" she asked, her chest tightening with anxiety. She heard the villagers pass by, still to far away to have noticed them.

"It's because your thing is supposed to be extinct! The king has sent out information to capture the dragon, and so with people seeing it, they think we're fugitives running away from the king!" Eiron snapped at Kiana. "We just need to stay out of sight, or we'll be killed!"

Wayvern growled angrily at him and then she got up,leaped and tackled him to the ground,stating,
"I don't follow your orders,boy,I follow Her's.I suggest if you want to STAY in this group,you start talking sense,and actually LEADING us to the castle.No matter how small I am,I could still kill you."

Kiana had jumped up in anger at the same time Wayvern did. She was about to punch the boy in front of her, but Wayvern had gotten to him before she had a chance to. "Don't you ever call Wayvern a thing!" she shouted angrily at him after Wayvern had threatened him herself. She turned abruptly and stormed off deeper into the woods, anger blinding her, letting her feet carry her wherever. She eventually came across a slow moving river and she sat on its bank. She let her feet dangle in the water while she fumed over Eiron. She didn't notice the tears on her cheeks.

Wayvern looked after her Kiana,and then whirled,she rushed off over to her,and leaped onto her shoulder,gently,and she frowned softly,and looked at her,
"Kiana...though he has a point,I don't think he should travel with us anymore.He's causing trouble,and there's something about him,that I don't like.He's lying to us.He's hiding something..I see it in his eyes Kiana...he's a dangerous person..."

Kiana looked at the dragon on her shoulder. She didn't know what to say so she looked back at the water flowing around her feet. It was still rather dark outside but morning was coming soon. "Maybe.....maybe we can stay with him a bit longer," she finally said, unsure of her conclusion. "But if anything happens again, we can leave......" She still wanted to trust Eiron.

"I'm not sure Kiana...You are my rider,but I don't know if I can trust your judgement with this boy..he's pushed us enough as it is...and you've known me longer than him...but..I will go with you.."
She leaped off her shoulder and went to the water,and into it silently.
